Traffic Control Center for Mcity deploys a state-of-the-art advance traffic management system. This system is able to monitor and control all infrastructures devices including road side unit , traffic signal controllers, vehicle detectors, and video cameras, for testing of connected and automated vehicles.

A data collection and management system alloys all data collection in Mcity to be transmitted back to the traffic control center for both real-time and and off-line access, analysis an visualization.

The traffic control center provides an augments reality environment for connected and automated vehicle testing, in which movement of testing vehicles and traffic signals in the real- world can be synchronized in simulation, while simulated traffic information can be transmitted to testing vehicles communication system. The augments reality environment enables real concerned and automated vehicle to interact with simulated background vehicle, which offers realistic traffic environment testing.
