Zachary Jerome

Zachary is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan. He received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in May 2020. His research interests include connected and autonomous vehicle safety and next-generation traffic control systems. 

Haojie Zhu

Haojie Zhu is a Ph.D. student major in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include connected and automated vehicle technology and machine learning application. 

Zhijie Qiao

Zhijie Qiao is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan. He received his Bachelor's from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Computer Engineering and Master's from the University of Pennsylvania in Robotics. His research interests lie in connected and automated vehicles, driving environment modeling, testing, and validation.  

Zihao Wang

Zihao Wang is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan. He worked as a senior algorithm engineer in the Smart Transportation Department of DiDi Global Inc. from 2018 to 2022. He received his bachelor’s and master's degrees in Aeronautical Engineering from the Civil Aviation University of China. His research interests include traffic flow modeling and traffic simulation.

Xingpeng Xia

Xingpeng Xia is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan. He received his bachelor's degree from the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University. His research interests include cooperative driving and roadside perception.
