Xintao Yan

Xintao Yan is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan since fall 2018. He received his bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University in automotive engineering. His research interests are mainly about the safety of connected and automated vehicles, including naturalistic driving environment modeling and automated driving system testing and evaluation. 

Haowei Sun

Haowei Sun is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, China. His research interest focuses on connected and automated vehicle testing and evaluation. 

Zachary Jerome

Zachary is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan. He received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in May 2020. His research interests include connected and autonomous vehicle safety and next-generation traffic control systems. 

Haojie Zhu

Haojie Zhu is a Ph.D. student major in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include connected and automated vehicle technology and machine learning application. 

Zhijie Qiao

Zhijie Qiao is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan. He received his Bachelor's from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Computer Engineering and Master's from the University of Pennsylvania in Robotics. His research interests lie in connected and automated vehicles, driving environment modeling, testing, and validation.
